The Consul-General of Thailand in Osaka paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Mie Prefecture

On 9 July 2015 Mr. Dusit Manapan, Consul-General of Thailand in Osaka, paid a courtesy call on
Mr. Eikei Suzuki, Governor of Mie Prefecture, to introduce himself officially after the Consulate-General
of Thailand’s assumption of his duty. Both sides expressed their readiness to strengthen the cooperation in the areas of tourism, industries especially in SMEs sector, and investment in infrastructure in Thailand. The Consul-General expressed his sincere appreciation to Mie Prefecture in taking a good care of approximately 1,000 Thais who live in Mie Prefecture.
Mie Prefecture is home to the renowned Ise Grand Shine. It has been chosen as the venue for hosting the 42nd G7 Summit in 2016.
