On 10 March 2016, Consul-General Dusit Manapan attended Thailand MICE Roadshow in Japan 2016 in Osaka organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB at Swissotel Nankai Osaka. About 50 Thai and Japanese MICE-related entrepreneurs attended the event.
In his welcoming remarks at the event’s dinner reception, Consul-General Dusit commended TCEB for its proactive role in promoting Thailand as a premier destination for corporate meetings and incentives. Consul-General Dusit emphasized the importance of promoting Thailand’s MICE Industry in Japan, which is one of Thailand’s biggest trade partners and investors as well as highest spending MICE markets. Consul-General Dusit also mentioned the significant role played by MICE Industry in enhancing the close ties of friendship between Thailand and Japan and hoped that Thailand-Japan partnership in MICE Industry will contribute meaningfully to the longstanding Thailand-Japan bilateral relations.
