On 30 July 2018 Mr. Munin Paniswasdi, Cosul-General of Thailand in Osaka attended the opening ceremony of Susami Multi-Generational Exchange Center at Susami Town, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, and Café Amazon, the second branch in Japan, located in the said Center.  Also attending there wereMr. Hiroshi Shimo, Vice Governor of Wakayama Prefecture, Mr. SuchartRamas, Executive Vice President for Retail Marketing of PTT Public Company Limited, and Mr. Yasunori Iwamoto, President of Codomo Energy Company Limited, holder of Café Amazon franchise which also runs the first branch of Café Amazon in Kawauchi Village, Fukushima Prefecture.  
    Consul-General Paniswasdi congratulated Susami Town Chief for the successful establishment of Susami Multi-Generational Exchange Centeraiming to be a facility for social activities and gatherings of the community, especially for the youth and the elderly.  He also welcomed the opening of the second branch of Café Amazon in Japan and the first branch in Kansai region, which not only represent Thai brand in Japan but also help promote positive image of Thailand in Japan, and expressed his readiness to support both PTT and Codomo Energy in their future business expansion in Kansai which Osaka is the next target in the pipeline.
