Thai student from Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Chonburi participated in The Asian and Oceanian Highschool Students’ Forum held in Wakayama Prefecture

On 31 July 2019, Consul-General KritTanakanarat attended the Reception and Opening Ceremony of The Asian and Oceanian Highschool Students’ Forum in Wakayama Prefecture. The event is held annually as an opinion exchange forum among Asian, Oceanianand Wakayama high school students (ages 15 – 18 years) on topicseffected by globalization, whether in terms of education, environment, natural disaster, tourism, food and culture. It is also an opportunity for students to create network and linkages with one another.
On this occasion, Miss ChanoknanSirikamnoifrom Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Chonburi, represented Thailand at the forum and expressed her views on the problems of education and alternative methods of teaching, which was applauded by her fellow friends from other countries.
To date, there are 3,241 Thai students in Japan and Japan ranks among the top educational destinations for Thai people in terms of further education.
