On 16 December 2019, Mr. Krit Tankanarat, Consul-General of Thailand to Osaka, together with officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka and Team Thailand in Osaka, welcomed General Narain Siripubarn, Commanding General of the National Defence Studies Institute and Lieutenant General Pisan Pathom-ame, Superintendent of the National Defence College, on the occasion of the latter’s visit to the Kansai Region. On this occasion, Consul-General Krit hosted the welcome luncheon in honour of the delegation at The Garden Oriental Osaka and briefed the delegation on the potential of the Kansai region. Ms. Yukiko Takase, Deputy Director-General for International Policy and Coordination, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, was also invited to brief the delegation on the economy, trade and industry of the Kansai region.
